Hello, I’m Ben Whisson,
An independent broadacre crop and pasture agronomist and the proud owner of Cropportunity Pty Ltd. Our journey together starts with a passion for agriculture deeply rooted in my upbringing on our family wheat and sheep farm in Cunderdin, Western Australia.
Commitment to Independence
As the founder of Cropportunity Pty Ltd and a member of the ConsultAg Group, I am fiercely committed to working in the best interests of my clients. My independence is a cornerstone of my approach—I have no financial connections to external parties, including chemical and fertiliser companies. This ensures that my business and recommendations are solely driven by your success, free from sales, kickbacks, or incentives.
Dedication to Sustainability
With over 18 years of experience, I take immense pride in using my expertise to help farming businesses of all sizes thrive. From family-owned operations to corporate farming enterprises, I excel in providing personalised advice to achieve your goals and ensure long-term profitability and sustainability.
Balancing Precision and Detail
My ability to focus on getting the big decisions right while maintaining an eye for detail has been the hallmark of my career. This commitment has earned me a reputation for delivering exceptional results for my clients.
Industry Recognition
I am not just an agronomist; I am a respected independent voice in the agricultural industry. Whether sharing insights on ABC radio, serving as an expert on the Country Hour, or contributing as a committee member of the Australian Association of Agricultural Consultants (AAAC WA), I actively engage in industry discussions and contribute to its growth.
I am genuinely excited about the opportunities within your business. Let's connect, discuss your vision, and cultivate a path to prosperity together.
